LDV is 'L'appel Du Vide' Or 'the call of the void'. A French phrase for that feeling when you stand in a high place and think about jumping, but don't actually want to and don't actually do it. Or that fleeting thought of driving into the path of an oncoming car. More insight on the phenomenon here.

The pieces show a gradation from light to dark with a shaft of broken light emanating from the dark -  which represents the call from the void, the light that draws you in. The glitch effect also alludes to the temporary glitch in one's thinking, or the glitch in the matrix that prompted the fleeting thought.
